Rose State College President Dr. Jeanie Webb was honored with the Legacy Award at the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on January 23, 2025. The event celebrated local businesses and individuals who have made a lasting impact on the community.

The banquet, held in the FNB Community Bank Ballroom on the Rose State College campus, brought together hundreds of business and community leaders to recognize outstanding achievements and welcome new leadership. Midwest City Chamber of Commerce President Shaina Bennett highlighted Dr. Webb’s remarkable accomplishments over her 12 years as president of Rose State College, including her dedication to expanding the college’s programs and fostering strong connections between the institution and the community.

In addition to honoring Dr. Webb, the Chamber installed its new Chair and Board members for 2025. Cindy Mikeman, Rose State College’s Vice President for Foundation and Resource Development, was named the 2025 Chair, succeeding outgoing Chair Kyle Allison. Both Dr. Webb and Ms. Mikeman, who announced their retirements from Rose State College earlier this year, were recognized for their significant contributions to Midwest City.

Ms. Mikeman, whose retirement takes effect on February 3, 2025, has been a cornerstone of Rose State’s fundraising and development efforts for over a decade. Dr. Webb, set to retire on July 1, 2025, leaves behind a legacy of visionary leadership, student-focused innovation, and community engagement.
Rose State College extends its deepest gratitude to Dr. Webb and Ms. Mikeman for their decades of commitment to the college’s mission of serving students, faculty, staff, and the broader community.
